FAQs

What is Unified Music?

Music for all! This class is a unique partnership focused on creating an inclusive music-making experience for every student, including those in general education and those receiving Special Education Services. All students will engage in a variety of musical activities, including singing, movement, and instrument playing, fostering a supportive and interactive environment.

Participants will have the chance to showcase their talents in performances, bringing the community together through music. Additionally, students will embark on community-based educational outings, enriching their learning and connecting with the world around them.

We celebrate diversity and aim to empower all students through the universal language of music!

How do I get started in my district?

Find a colleague or administrator that will collaborate with you on a course proposal. Begin by outlining what your specific building or district needs and provide options for a path forward. This will take time!

Why Unified Music?

Each and every student deserves a high-quality and appropriate music education. If your school does not offer music courses that are truly open to all students, there may be students that would like to make music but don’t currently have access.
